Atmel ATmega32A-PU is AVR Mega series 40 pin DIP microcontroller, packed with high performance, low power 8 bit Advanced RISC Architecture with 131 powerful instructions. Atmega32A-PU is a popular microcontroller with 32KB program memory, 1KB EEPROM Memory, 2KB RAM Memory, 32 I/O channels divided into four 8-bit ports named as PORTA, PORTB, PORTC and PORTD, 8ADC Inputs, 3 Timers and 32 Logic Function Numbers. CPU Speed is 16MHz, operational Voltage limit is 2.7 V to 5.5 V and operational Temperature range is from -40 degree to 85 degree C. It supports JTAG, SPI and USART interface. The CPU can achieve 16 MIPS using 16 MHz external crystal. It can also work with internal frequency generator within 1 to 8 MHz. Atmega32 can execute Most of the instructions in one machine cycle, achieving throughputs approaching 1 MIPS per MHz.
